TabToTask is designed with a privacy-first approach. The free version of our extension stores all data locally on your device—we never see, collect, or transmit your data.

Free Version (Local Storage Only)

When you use TabToTask's free version, we collect NO data. Your tasks, categories, notes, and settings are stored entirely on your device using your browser's local storage. We have no access to this information.

Pro Version (With Cloud Sync)

If you choose to enable cloud sync with a Pro subscription, we collect: - Email address (for account authentication) - Task data (titles, URLs, notes, categories) — encrypted before storage - Subscription status (for feature access) - Usage analytics (anonymized, optional)

What We Never Collect - Browsing history - Passwords or sensitive form data - Personal files or documents - Data from tabs you don't explicitly save

Pro Cloud Sync Users

We use your data solely to: - Authenticate your account - Sync your tasks across devices - Process subscription payments - Provide customer support - Send important service updates (you can opt out)

We do NOT: - Sell your data to third parties - Use your data for advertising - Share your data with data brokers - Analyze your browsing patterns

TabToTask uses the following third-party services:

Supabase (Database & Authentication) - Hosts encrypted task data for Pro users - Handles secure authentication - Privacy Policy: https://supabase.com/privacy

Stripe (Payment Processing) - Processes subscription payments - We never see or store your full card details - Privacy Policy: https://stripe.com/privacy

We carefully vet all third-party services for privacy compliance.

We take data security seriously:

For the free version, your data never leaves your device, providing maximum security.

For Free Users: Your data is already on your device. Export it from settings or clear extension data to delete.

For Pro Users: Use the account settings to export or delete data, or contact support@tabtotask.com.

TabToTask Extension: We use NO cookies or tracking in the extension itself.

TabToTask Website: Our marketing website may use: - Essential cookies (for site functionality) - Analytics cookies (optional, anonymized)

You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. The extension works independently of any website cookies.

TabToTask is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately at support@tabtotask.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by: - Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top - Sending an email notification (for Pro users) - Displaying a notice in the extension
